EDI DEFINED
CalvaEDI’s core business activity is geared towards facilitating the transmission of data between our customers’ different IT systems and those of their partners.
EDI translations are located in the CalvaEDI server centre and the basic principle is to allow each customer to use one format of computerised data exchange for all its partners. Then, on the CalvaEDI server, according to the computer profile of the recipient, data is translated into the format of the latter and sent according to the communication mode used. This system also allows the carrying out of specific data processing between two partners.
ENTRUST US WITH YOUR EDI TRANSLATIONS AND REMAIN FOCUSED ON YOUR BUSINESS-SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS
Using centralised EDI translation is a technical simplification for the CalvaEDI customer who can consequently focus their attention on their business-specific applications.
Information processed by the EDI server can be structured in the form of standardised messages or conveyed via all types of proprietary files.
